17 errors in JEE Main 2026 Session 1 answer key; CFI demands bonus marks for 10 questions.

After the release of the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 answer key, several mistakes have been pointed out. The Coaching Federation of India (CFI) has claimed that there are 17 incorrect questions in the answer key. According to them, these questions contain errors such as wrong answers, confusing statements, calculation issues, and cases where more than one option seems correct.

Out of these 17 questions, CFI believes that 10 questions are seriously flawed and has requested that bonus marks be given to all students for those questions. Most of the disputed questions are from the Physics section, while a few are from Chemistry and Mathematics.

CFI has stated that even a difference of one mark can change a student’s rank significantly, so these mistakes should be corrected fairly. The matter is now under discussion, and the decision may impact the final result and rankings of JEE Main 2026 Session 1 candidates.
