The National Institute of Technology, Manipur (NIT Manipur), is a public technical university located in Imphal, Manipur, and is recognized as an Institute of National Importance by the Government of India. Established in 2010, it is one of the ten new NITs created by the Ministry of Education (formerly MHRD).

B.Tech admissions are primarily through JEE Main scores, followed by counseling via the JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) process, with eligibility requiring strong performance in Class 12 (PCM) and meeting specific cutoff ranks for popular branches like CSE. You need a valid JEE Main rank, and then register for JoSAA to get a seat, with CSAB counselling handling subsequent rounds for leftover seats.
