Established in 1970, Nalanda Medical College and Hospital (NMCH) is a prominent government medical institution located in Patna, Bihar. Initially started as a private initiative by visionary doctors and the then Education Minister of Bihar, it was taken over by the state government in 1978 and is now affiliated with the Bihar University of Health Sciences (and formerly Aryabhatta Knowledge University).
