B.J. Medical College

Established in 1871 as the Ahmedabad Medical School, B.J. Medical College (BJMC), Ahmedabad, is the oldest and largest government medical institution in Gujarat and one of the most prestigious in India. Affiliated with Gujarat University and recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC), the college serves as the state’s primary hub for medical education, admitting 250 MBBS students and over 400 postgraduate and super-specialty students annually.
