Dibrugarh University Institute Of Engineering And Technology

The Dibrugarh University Institute of Engineering and Technology (DUIET) is a constituent college of Dibrugarh University in Dibrugarh, Assam, India. Established in 2009 with approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

DUIET offers a four-year B.Tech. program in several core engineering disciplines, including Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Petroleum Engineering. The institute also provides postgraduate M.Tech. and Ph.D. programs in engineering and technology. Being an integral part of the main university, DUIET students benefit from shared access to the central library, health center, sports, and other common facilities.

B.Tech programs in Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Petroleum Engineering. The institute also provides a Computer Science & Engineering program with a minor in AI and Machine Learning, and an Electronics & Communication Engineering program with a minor in IoT and Data Science.

Admission to the B.Tech program at DUIET requires a valid score from the JEE Main exam, though Assam CEE may also be accepted. Candidates must have passed their 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and achieved an aggregate of at least 45% in these subjects. The application must be submitted online through the official DUIET portal.
