Guntur Medical College (GMC) is one of the premier and oldest government medical institutions in South India. Located in the heart of Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. It was established in 1946 and is affiliated with Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences and is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). The college is renowned for its vast clinical exposure, facilitated by its attachment to the Government General Hospital (GGH).
GMC offers an annual intake of 250 MBBS students and provides a wide array of postgraduate (MD/MS) and super-specialty (DM/M.Ch) programs, notably being one of the first in the country to offer satellite-based medical training.
