The I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU), formerly known as Punjab Technical University (PTU), is a public state university established by an Act of State Legislature in 1997 in Kapurthala, Punjab, India. The university was later renamed in 2015 to honor the late former Prime Minister of India, Sh. Inder Kumar Gujral.
